Multimax Vice President Accepts AFCEA Leadership Role
Andy Anderson Becomes President of AFCEA Rocky Mountain Chapter
To be Honored at the Broadmoor
Colorado Springs, Co. (October 3, 2006) – Multimax, Inc. – the premier resource for performance-based enterprise information technology (IT) and communications services for Department of Defense (DoD) and civilian agencies – announced today that the Rocky Mountain Chapter of the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association (AFCEA) has elected Andy Anderson, a Multimax vice president, as its president.
“Andy Anderson, of Multimax’s robust Colorado Springs office, is an experienced professional who understands the mission-critical requirements that are driving Multimax’s customers in the defense and homeland security IT communities,” said Carleton Jones, CEO of Multimax. “Multimax is proud that Andy has been selected for this leadership role; we enthusiastically support his commitment to AFCEA.”
“We will honor Andy as part of Multimax’s participation this week in the 2006 Homeland Defense Symposium, a critical event for professionals with focus areas in the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) and U.S. Northern Command (USNORTHCOM), as well as in Homeland Defense, Homeland Security, Civil Support, and Emergency Response,” Jones said. Multimax will be holding a reception in Anderson’s honor at the Broadmoor, the site of the Symposium, on October 4.

Browne, U.S. Navy (Ret.), president and chief executive officer, AFCEA International. “We look forward to working with him as he leads AFCEA’s critical activities in the Rocky Mountain region, serving as a bridge between government requirements and industry capabilities in the IT, communications, and intelligence arenas.”
Mr. Anderson has been an active AFCEA member, serving in a number of leadership capacities throughout his 28-year tenure in the U.S. Air Force and during his transition into the private sector. Recently promoted to vice president at Multimax, Mr. Anderson brings significant Air Force knowledge to the company’s business development team. In 2006, he retired from a distinguished career with the Air Force that included a number of leadership roles, culminating in his position as Deputy Director for Logistics and Communications for the Air Force Space Command. Mr. Anderson is a 1978 graduate of the U.S. Air Force Academy.
