Multimax Wins Major Multi-Year U.S. Army Contract

Multimax, Inc. wins the U.S. Army Human Resources Command (HRC) contract, worth as much as $21 million

Herndon, VA. (June 13, 2006) Multimax, Inc.—the premier resource for performance-based enterprise IT and communications services for governmental and civilian agencies— announced today it has won the U.S. Army Human Resources Command (HRC) contract for Life Cycle Maintenance services supporting the (interactive) Personnel Electronic Resource Management System (iPERMS).

Under the terms of this contract, Multimax will provide hardware maintenance, systems engineering, program management support and system solutions for the iPERMS Program Management Office in support of five major sites for the Department of the Army, including sites at all fifty-four states and territories for the Army National Guard. If all options are exercised, the contract has a value in excess of $21 million.

As part of this effort, Multimax is partnering with CHE, Inc. a leading provider of hardware- engineering solutions headquartered in Fenton, Mo. CHE will provide critical nationwide hardware maintenance support throughout the term of this contract.

The Program Management Office (PMO), U.S. Army HRC, is responsible for all aspects of System Management of the iPERMS. The iPERMS is a highly net-centric information system used by the active Army, Army Reserves, Army National Guard and the U.S. Army Accessions Command (USAAC). It supports the joint personnel records maintenance initiative. Military components and end-users of iPERMS are worldwide, including war theatres in Iraq, Afghanistan, and Joint Military Headquarters located in coalition force countries.
