Multimax Wins $14 Million Army Task Work
Company to Support Consolidation of IT Services at Ft. Monmouth
Herndon, Va. (November 13, 2006) – Multimax, Inc. – the premier resource for performance-based enterprise information technology (IT) and communications services for Department of Defense (DoD) and civilian agencies – announced today that it will support a U.S. Army task order that will consolidate IT services for the Army’s Team Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) headquarters at Ft. Monmouth, New Jersey. Multimax will perform the work with prime contractor QSS Group, Inc. and with General Dynamics. Awarded under the Army’s Information Technology Enterprise Solutions (ITES) contract, the task order is for a period of one base year with two, one-year options. The total value of the contract to Multimax is $14.3 million, if all options are exercised.
Under this performance-based task order, which consolidates IT services previously performed under nine separate task orders, Multimax will provide support to a customer base of 7,000 users. The scope of work encompasses the full range of IT support services, including:
- Mail messaging
- Desktop support
- Centralized help desk
- Web servers
- File, print and mission server support
- Data network services
- Network and operations security
- Information assurance
- Hardware maintenance
