Multimax Wins Army ITES-2S Contract
Herndon, Va. (March 27, 2007) – Multimax, Inc. – one of the premier resources for performance-based enterprise information technology (IT) and communications services for Department of Defense and civilian agencies – announced today that it has been selected by the U.S. Army as a prime contractor for the Army's Information Technology Enterprise Solutions – 2 Services (ITES-2S) program.
The ITES-2S contract is a performance-based, indefinite-delivery indefinite-quality (IDIQ) contract vehicle established by the Army’s Program Executive Office Enterprise Information Systems (PEO EIS). The ITES-2S program is managed by the Army Small Computer Program (ASCP) and the Information Technology, E-Commerce, and Commercial Contracting Center (ITEC4).
The scope of the ITES-2S contract includes services in the following broad functional categories:
- IT Services
- Information Systems Security and Information Assurance
- Network Support
- Business Process Reengineering
- Enterprise Design, Integration and Consolidation
- Education and Training
- Program and Project Management
- Systems Operation and Maintenance
The contract has a combined potential value of $20 billion over a three-year base period and three, two-year option periods.
