Multimax Joint Venture Wins Homeland Security EAGLE Contract
Herndon, Va. (January 2, 2007) – Multimax, Inc. – the premier resource for performance-based enterprise information technology (IT) and communications services for Department of Defense and civilian agencies – announced today that the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has awarded an Enterprise Acquisition Gateway for Leading Edge (EAGLE) solutions contract to MultimaxArray EAGLE, a joint venture between Multimax and Array Information Technology, Inc.
The EAGLE contracts are DHS’s new department-wide vehicles for acquiring IT services. The EAGLE program has a ceiling of $45 billion over a term of five years and two one-year options.
The award to MultimaxArray EAGLE is part of the second phase of awards, reserved for small business (SB) awards. MultimaxArray EAGLE is one of just seven SB winners in EAGLE Functional Area 1, which covers Infrastructure Engineering Design, Development, Implementation, and Integration.
MultimaxArray EAGLE is a joint venture between Multimax, as mentor, and Array, as protégé, under the Small Business Administration’s Mentor-Protégé Program.
