Multimax Awarded $41 Million Navy Contract
Company to Support Commander Naval Installations Command
Herndon, VA. October 10, 2006 Multimax, Inc.— the premier resource for performance-based enterprise information technology (IT) and communications services for Department of Defense and civilian agencies – announced today that it has won a contract to provide comprehensive IT infrastructure services supporting the Commander Navy Installations Command (CNIC). The contract has a ceiling of $41,691,120 over one base and three option years.
Under the contract, Multimax will plan, deploy, operate, and maintain a performance-based IT infrastructure enabling CNIC to accomplish its mission and strategic vision. The initial task is to establish a help desk and depot support facility for the CNIC Enterprise Land Mobile Radio (ELMR) project. Additional IT infrastructure support services covered by the contract include:
- Application and database maintenance support
- Commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) software integration
- Planning, engineering, and design support
- Network support
- Systems integration
- Systems administration
- Systems support
- Wired, wireless, satellite, and mobile communications support
- Computer-communication maintenance
- On-site equipment and user support
- Network multimedia devices
- Asset management
- Computer-aided design (CAD) drawing
- Video teleconferencing (VTC)
- Web page design/implementation/maintenance
- Server hosting and support
- Continuity of operations (COOP) support
- Information assurance (IA) and operations security support
- IT training
