Multimax on Winning Level 3 Communications Networx Enterprise Contract Team
Company to Provide Services Supporting Federal Telecommunications Requirements
Herndon, Va. (June 11, 2007) - Multimax, Inc. - the premier resource for performance-based enterprise information technology (IT) and communications services for Department of Defense (DoD) and civilian agencies - announced today that it is a member of the Level 3 Communications, Inc. winning team for a U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) Networx Enterprise contract. The federal contract allows Level 3 and its team members to bid on business issued by 135 government agencies and managed under the GSA's Networx Enterprise program, which is a comprehensive suite of network, managed network, and security services available to federal customers.
As part of the Level 3 team, Multimax can provide managed network services and customer-specific design and engineering services, including:
- Network architecture design and implementation
- Network design validation
- Evaluation of network technology alternatives
- Simulation and testing on test bed facilities
- Equipment and applications testing
- Engineering support
